01 / About
I’m George Chumashvili, an entrepreneur and business leader with experience across digital platforms, real estate, retail and food service. My career spans founding businesses, leading established companies and taking on board and rehabilitation responsibilities. Today, I serve as CEO of TNET, a member of TBC Group, where I lead a portfolio of digital businesses serving people’s everyday needs.
Since becoming CEO in 2021, my work at TNET has brought together strategy, product development, technology and commercial execution. The ecosystem spans areas including automotive, property, e-commerce, employment, ticketing and lifestyle services. Leading this range of businesses requires attention to each platform’s customers and economics, alongside the opportunities created by working as a connected group.
My current focus includes strengthening the connections between these businesses, improving customer experience and developing the role of data and AI in how we operate. This involves both the products customers use and the capabilities behind them—from customer engagement and cross-selling to the processes that help teams deliver.
Before TNET, entrepreneurship was a central part of my professional journey. In real estate, I founded and led Allproperty.ge, followed by my work as founder and General Manager of Livo. These experiences combined property services with digital business development and gave me a practical perspective on how technology can support decisions that remain deeply personal for customers.
Real estate also remains part of my entrepreneurial activity through Proper Apartments, a property management company that manages and operates apartments for short-term stays. The business works across Airbnb and other booking platforms, bringing together property operations, distribution and the guest experience.
My experience in consumer businesses includes Ioli, the grocery retail business that became today’s SPAR Georgia, and Degusto in food service. These businesses form distinct chapters in my career, alongside my work in technology and property. Together, they reflect the breadth of my experience across both digital services and businesses with daily, physical customer interactions.
I have also served as a Non-Executive Director at Ori Nabiji and as Rehabilitation Director at Goodwill. These responsibilities added different dimensions to my experience: contributing at board level and working within a business rehabilitation context.
Across these roles, my career has connected entrepreneurship with executive leadership. It includes the early work of establishing a business, the responsibilities of running an organization and the broader perspective required to contribute beyond day-to-day management. My work today draws on that combination as I continue leading TNET and developing my entrepreneurial interests.
